Our Story

Born in 2019 from the creative spark of San Joaquin Delta College radio and TV students, Static Studios began as a dream shared by a handful of storytellers who wanted to do things differently. What started with borrowed gear and big ambition has evolved into a Central Valley production house driven by collaboration, purpose, and pure creative grit.

Led by Emilio C. Lopez and a team of filmmakers, writers, designers, audio engineers, and producers, Static Studios is now a hub where bold ideas meet execution. We craft podcasts, films, branding, and live experiences that feel human, raw, and real, because we believe stories should move people, not just fill space. After a brief hiatus in 2020, we came back re-energized in 2022, turning the studio into a full-scale creative engine. From event coverage to full-scale campaigns, from intimate podcasts like Human Not Resources to cinematic passion projects such as Miss Fix and Project Phoenix, our focus is on authenticity, emotion, and storytelling that lasts.

In 2024 we expanded again with Midnight Groove Records, our in-house label for original music and sound design. Whether it is producing tracks, building sound identities, or mixing for screen, we treat audio as art, and every beat as part of the story.

Today, Static Studios stands as a movement for modern creators in the heart of California. We blend artistry, technology, and community to shape the next wave of multimedia storytelling — one project, one collaboration, one breakthrough at a time.
